Greyhounds Select Arttu Karki in 2023 CHL Import Draft (Media Release)

With their 1st Round Selection (7th overall) of the 2023 CHL Import Draft, the Soo Greyhounds selected defenceman Arttu Karki from Tappara U20 of the U20 SM-sarja Finnish league.
The 18-year old was just selected in the 3rd Round (96th overall) of the 2023 NHL Draft by the Vegas Golden Knights last week.
During the 2022-23 season, in 36 regular season games with Tappara, Karki recorded 13 goals and 26 assists, good for 39 points. He later added 7 points (1G, 6A) in 12 post-season contests.
Arttu has represented his home country in all levels of international play - U16, U18, U19 and U20 levels.
