67's Make Two Selections in CHL Import Draft

OTTAWA - The Ottawa 67's selected a pair of players, today, in the 2023 Canadian Hockey League Import Draft.

The full list is as follows:

Round 1, Pick 57:

forward Tuomas Uronen

Uronen, 18, heard his name called in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft, last week, being selected in the sixth round, 192nd overall, by the Vegas Golden Knights. The Kerava, Finland native spent the 2022-23 season with HIFK U20, in the Finnish U20 SM-sarja: Finland's premier junior league. Uronen skated in 39 games, tallying 20 goals and 23 assists, for 43 points, also potting a goal and an assist in three postseason games.

At the 2023 World U-18's, Uronen represented Finland, scoring a goal and an assist in five games.

Round 2, Pick 117:

forward Kimi Körbler

Körbler, 16, played primarily for Davos U17 in his home country of Switzerland, last season, scoring 21 goals and 22 assists, for 43 points in 24 games, and an additional six goals and three assists in six playoff games. Körbler also spent six games with Davos' U20 squad, potting a goal and three assists, totaling four points.

Internationally, Körbler represented Switzerland's U17 program in a total of 11 games, scoeing five goals.
