Grey Cup to visit MTS Centre Nov. 11

The Manitoba Moose, in conjunction with Purolator Courier and Winnipeg Harvest, is pleased to announce the Grey Cup trophy will be on display on the main concourse of the MTS Centre on Saturday, November 11th along with Winnipeg Harvest's "Tin for the Bins" as part of Purolator Courier's "Tackle Hunger" program.

The 97-year old trophy given to the champion of the Canadian Football League will be in Winnipeg all next week as the city plays host to the 94th Grey Cup game at Canad Inns Stadium on Sunday, November 19th.

However, this Saturday, November 11th the Grey Cup makes its first visit to the MTS Centre. It will be on display on the main concourse while the Manitoba Moose take on the Hershey Bears in American Hockey League action. Gametime between the Bears and Moose is 7:30 p.m.

Fans are invited to bring a non-perishable food item to the game to put in Winnipeg Harvest's "Tin for the Bin" as part of Purolator Courier's "Tackle Hunger" program. The program raised over 1,000,000 pounds of food for food banks in Canada at CFL games the 2006 season.
