Green Bay Faces Chicago in a Home and Home Series

Fresh off a sweep of Tri-City away from home, the Gamblers have won eight of their last ten. That run of games has vaulted Green Bay to the top of the Eastern Conference standings.

Captain Mikey DeAngelo was a standout for the Gamblers this weekend. With four points in the two games. Will Hughes (two goals), Julian Lutz (goal and assist), and Jayson Shaugabay (goal and assist) also recorded multiple points. Green Bay will be looking at those players to bring that same level of performance into next weekend against the Steel in order to continue this winning run. Goaltender Adam Gajan has also been instrumental in the Gamblers success. Gajan leads the USHL in wins this season with 13.

Chicago comes into the series sitting in last place in the Eastern Conference. The Steel have shown signs of life recently winning 5 of their last 10. Forwards Michael Hage and Charlie Major have led the charge for Chicago. The pair have combined for 36 points this season. Goaltender Louka Cloutier has also been a big reason for the resurgence of the Steel, winning two of his last three games.

The Gamblers are at home next on Friday December 8th to take on the Chicago Steel. It's Bud Night featuring $3 Bud products.
