
Grebosky Scores Goal at NAHL Top Prospects

The final day of the 2014 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament featured four current Aberdeen Wings players on the ice. In game one, the NAHL Central took on the NAHL South.
In the first period, the NAHL Central would get on the board right away with a goal from Bismarck Bobcats standout Stanislav Dzakhov. Just seconds later, they would go up 2-0 on a goal from Austin Bruins forward Drew Anderson. In the second period, the NAHL South would answer with a goal from Wichita Falls forward Kyle Bauman. The NAHL South would start the third period with a goal from Lone Star Brahmas forward Matt Lison.
Tied 2-2, at the 11:34 mark the NAHL Central team would go on the power play. With 44 seconds remaining on the power play, Aberdeen Wings forward #24 Jonathan Grebosky (F-Pittsburgh, PA) would score. Assists would come from Minot forward Jake McCann and Brookings forward Conor Andrle. The NAHL Central would win 3-2, picking up their second win of the round robin tournament.
Featured on the NAHL Central team were Wings defensemen #4 Jake Horton (D-Plymouth, MN) and #20 Dillon Eichstadt (D-Bemidji, MN), and forward #24 Jonathan Grebosky (F-Pittsburgh, PA).
The NAHL North lost to the NAHL Midwest 4-1. Wings forward #17 Davis DeKorte (F-DeWitt, MI) scored the lone goal for the NAHL North, his second of the tournament.
The four Top Prospect Wings players will rejoin the rest of the team for away games this Friday and Saturday against the Austin Bruins.
