
Greatest Show on Turf finally home for season premier

ODESSA, TX: On Monday the Greatest Show on Turf; The Odessa Roughnecks; Ended a series of long strenuous road trips, with a victory over the Corpus Christ 45-34. The win over the Hammerheads put the Roughnecks at 4-0 and tied with the Everett Hawks for the best record in the league. The Roughnecks will host the Billings Mavericks (2-2)in just 2 days, on Saturday, April 23 in their "Season Premier." The Mavericks who recently knocked off two quality teams on the road in the Tri-Cities Fever and the Lincoln Capitols, will come into the game with a record of (2-2) and tied for 2nd place in their division.
In addition to a fast pace hard hitting game, the Roughnecks will bring exciting highflying family entertainment to the Permian Basin with halftime being headed up by the Giant Bicycle Air Show, a cross between Cirque Du Soleil and the X-Games it will bring fans to their feet and begging for more.
The game will be on Saturday, April 23, with the Tailgate party jumping off at 5:00P.M. directly followed by Kick-off at 7:11P.M. Tickets are going fast and fans are encouraged to purchase them in advance.
