Great Clips Named Official Hair Salon of Charlotte Independence

Charlotte, N.C. - Queen City Soccer Club LLC announced today that Great Clips has signed on as an official sponsor of the Charlotte Independence thru 2020.
Elements of the partnership include category exclusivity, signage, broadcast, in-store promotions, print, social media, hospitality and fan interaction.
"We are beyond excited to welcome the world's largest salon brand to the Team," said Wade Leaphart, Independence Executive Vice President. "We've got some amazing sponsors helping pave the way to Memorial (Stadium) in 2021. Our main goal is to build affinity between them and our rapidly growing fanbase. As they like to say, it's gonna be great!"
The Independence currently play at The Sportsplex at Matthews. The USL Championship club is slated to move into a revitalized American Legion Memorial Stadium, on the edge of Uptown Charlotte, in spring 2021. The 2019 season is currently underway.
