Nashville SC Falls to 8th in Latest USL Power Rankings

TAMPA - A sobering 3-1 loss to the Charleston Battery on Saturday moved Nashville Soccer Club in the wrong direction of the USL Championship Power Rankings following Week 7 in the league. Nashville dropped six spots to 8th overall.
After Nashville seemed poised to take over the top spot in the rankings following as 2nd place ranking last week, the disappointing performance grounded expectations and pushed NSC to 6th in the Eastern Conference and 8th amongst the 36 teams in the Championship.
Nashville's next opponent, Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC, played to a 0-0 draw last weekend against Saint Louis FC and stayed stagnant at No. 11 in the Power Rankings. Kickoff for that game in Pittsburgh is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT.
