DENVER - The National Lacrosse League announced today that Colorado Mammoth forward John Grant Jr. has been named a second-team All-Pro, his ninth appearance on the league's honorary list. Grant tallied 43 goals in 2013, second-most in the NLL. His 15 power-play scores tied for the league lead, and his 91 points were fifth-best.

"It's great that John has been recognized by others around the NLL for his on-field accomplishments this season," said Mammoth head coach Bob Hamley.

The 38-year-old was previously named to the All-Pro Team from 2000-2003, 2005-2007, and in 2012. He was the league's MVP in 2007 and 2012, and surpassed Mammoth legend Gary Gait for third all-time in career points in March. Grant was named the NLL's Offensive Player of the Week twice during the 2013 season, and led the Mammoth in goals, assists (48), and points.

Of the 12 players named to the All-Pro teams, Grant was the only one to have earned the accolade five or more times.
