Philadelphia Wings Goalie Brandon Miller Named to NLL All-Pro Second Team

Philadelphia Wings goalie Brandon Miller has been named to the National Lacrosse League's All-Pro Second Team for the 2013 season.

This is Miller's first selection to the all-pro team, where he joins four other first time selections on the second team. Miller, a 13-year league veteran came in second in voting for the NLL's Goaltender of the Year, after being awarded the league's Defensive Player of the Week three times this season.

The net minder was instrumental in each of the Wings seven wins this season, earning a team high three game MVP awards and leading the way to the team's second straight appearance in the NLL playoffs. Philadelphia's defense was anchored by the veteran goaltender, who finished fifth in the league in saves with 556 and minutes played 831 and had a 12.12 goals against average.

Miller reached a career milestone this season, recording his 4,000th save against the division leading Toronto Rock in a playoff clinching game to round out home portion of the regular season at Wells Fargo Center. Playing in 15 regular season games this season, the Orangeville, Ontario native ranks second among the league's active goalies with 174 career games played.
