Graham to Idaho on Loan

Des Moines, IA - The Iowa Stars today announced that defenseman Ethan Graham has been loaned to the ECHL's Idaho Steelheads.

Graham, 25, has appeared in 31 games with Iowa this season, registering 1 goal and 2 assists along with 26 PIM. The 6-2, 185-pound defenseman missed ten games after suffering a shoulder injury in the season opener at San Antonio before he picked up his first professional point with an assist in the Stars loss to Manitoba on December 4th, and scored his first professional goal at Quad City on December 19th.

The Xenia, OH native most recently played four seasons with the Michigan State University Spartans where he helped the team to a National Championship over Boston College in April of 2007. Graham led defensemen on the team with 12 assists and was voted Most Outstanding Defenseman. Prior to joining the Spartans, Graham played two years with the Lincoln Stars of the USHL; a team that won the Anderson and Clark cups.
