
Stewart Rejoins Rochester

(Rochester, NY)... Rochester Americans General Manager Jody Gage announced today that the Florida Panthers have reassigned right wing Anthony Stewart to the Amerks.
Stewart, 23, returns to Rochester after receiving his sixth NHL recall this season. A native of LaSalle,Quebec, Stewart has collected one point in 24 games with the Panthers this season. In 22 American Hockey League contests with the Amerks, the 6-foot, 221-pound forward has registered 18 points (8+10) and 24 PIM. Stewart was Florida's first-round selection (25th overall) in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
The Amerks will return to action on Friday, January 25th as they play host to the Lake Erie Monsters. The 7:35 p.m. North Division matchup will be the first game of a home-and-home series between their new rivals. The game will be broadcast live on Hot Talk 1280 WHTK, whtk.com and B2 networks. It will also be televised live on Time Warner SportsNet Channel 26. The contest falls on the next installment of the Amerks' Friday Night Frenzies. Fans can enjoy live music from Johnny Bauer up until game time.
Fans can participate in the Amerks' Superfan Contest by dressing up as your favorite hockey player for a chance to win tickets to the upcoming Florida Panthers at Buffalo Sabres game courtesy of BodineUnlimitedTours.com. All dressed Superfans will receive a $3.00 discount off selected seats at the box office on the day of the game.
The game also falls on College Night. Show your ID at the Box Office and receive a $16.00 ticket for $10.00 or a $12.00 for just $8.00. Further, it's Scout Night. Any 200 premium ticket can be purchased for $12.00 (Regular price $21.00). Any 100 end ticket can be purchased for $10.00 (Regular price $17.00).
Lastly, it's a Wendy's Night. Buy one, get one free ticket vouchers are available at any participating Wendy's Restaurants.
Rochester will head to Cleveland to complete the series the following night in a 7:30 p.m. contest at Quicken Loans Arena. Both games will be broadcast live on Hot Talk 1280 WHTK, whtk.com and B2 networks. The Amerks are 1-1-0 this season against the Colorado Avalanche's affiliate.
