Falcons recall Brad Farynuk from Stockton

Springfield, MA - The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today that they have recalled defenseman Brad Farynuk

from their ECHL affiliate, the Stockton Thunder. Farynuk was reassigned to Stockton on Tuesday so he could participate in both the 2008 ECHL All-Star Skills Competition and 2008 ECHL All-Star Game in Stockton, California.

Farynuk has been recalled by the Falcons on five occasions this season and the Enderby, British Columbia native has played in four games with Springfield this year not registering a point. In 28 games with the Thunder this season, the Stockton captain has three goals and 12 assists for 15 points and is third among all Stockton defensemen in scoring.

The Falcons return to action this weekend when they head to Providence on Friday, followed by hosting the Worcester Sharks on Saturday, January 26 at the

MassMutual Center starting at 7:00 pm. Single game tickets for the 2007-08 regular season are on sale at the MassMutual Center Box Office and online at Ticketmaster.com.
