Gorillas Waive Hill & McNeill, Sign Cloud

Amarillo, TX 11/3/09 - The Amarillo Gorillas have waived forwards Jason Hill & Dan McNeill and signed forward Chris Cloud, the team announced Wednesday.

Hill recorded three points (1-2-3) over eight games with the Gorillas after arriving in the Panhandle from a trade with the Rapid City Rush for future considerations prior to the beginning of the regular season.

McNeill garnered two points (0-2-2) and 16 penalty minutes over seven games with Amarillo.

Currently in his first professional year, Cloud, 21 (10/22/1988), skated in three games with the ECHL's Wheeling Nailers this season and played last year with the WHL's Seattle Thunderbirds. The Waywayseecappo, Manitoba (200 miles West of Winnipeg) native thrived with Seattle last season, earning single-season career-highs in goals (15), assists (19), and penalty minutes (143) over 68 games.
