Amarillo Gorillas News Release
AMARILLO, TX â The Amarillo Gorillas of the Central Hockey League officially launched their new and improved website this afternoon.
The website, created by Diversified Ideas of Amarillo, will offer fans easier navigation, as well as a cleaner look using the color red which coincides with the Gorillas new corporate partnerships and season ticket brochures.
Another unique feature to www.amarillogorillas.com will be the poll question that will be updated every two weeks. Fans will be able to answer a question that the Gorillas staff pose and give their responses to the four best choices that are available.
During the past two seasons, the Gorillas website has been the number one source for hockey fans not only in Amarillo and the Texas Panhandle, but around the world to get the latest information on their beloved team. In 2003-2004 season, the Gorillas received over 83,000 hits on their website. Fans will still be able to listen to the games during the season with live web casting as well as have opportunities to win various prizes.
"We want to thank Richard De La Cruz for his hard work to improve the website," said Gorillas Director of Corporate Sales and Marketing Stacy Quest. "In re-launching this website, our goal from day one has been to increase fan interaction with our team, staff and sponsors."
The website was designed in part by Diversified Ideas and Moonlighting Unlimited. Diversified Ideas (www.diversifiedideas.com), which is locally owned by Richard De La Cruz, designs and maintains websites for companies and provides sales and support for automated calling and voicemail software and hardware.
Moonlighting Unlimited (www.virtualcrowdcontrol.com) locally owned by Kevin and Melanie Moon, designs computer software and markets their own line of Automated Dialing Software, Voicemail Systems, and Media Playback Software.
The 2004-2005 season is fast approaching for the Amarillo Gorillas and fans shouldn't delay and purchase full or partial season tickets. A $50 deposit is required and for further information, please drop by the Amarillo Gorillas Corporate Offices at 1934 Civic Circle, just off of I-40 and Georgia, or by calling 242-7825.
