Corpus Christi, Texas – There has never been a better time to be a Corpus Christi Rayz season ticket holder. Thursday afternoon, Rayz General Manager/Senior Vice President Larry Linde announced a brand new season ticket incentive program called "Rayz Rewards." Rayz Rewards is an incentive program that rewards Rayz season ticket holders with the opportunity to win a bevy of unique and one-of-a-kind prizes.

At the midpoint of the next three months, there will be a drawing for one Grand Prize and various other first prizes. The final Grand Prize will give one fan the chance to live out a dream and truly become part of the Rayz team. The Grand Prize winner will actually become a member of the team and participate in a Rayz regular season game. Other prizes for this event include, but are not limited to, the opportunity to help coach the Rayz for a game, travel on a road trip with the team, practice with the team in full equipment, join the Rayz broadcast team as the color analyst for a game and much, much more. Entry is free and open to all season tickets holders, with no additional cost required to participate. Simply by purchasing season tickets, fans are enrolled, and receive one entry for each ticket purchased. Therefore, if a fan purchases four season tickets, they will receive four entries into the Rayz Rewards program.

The Rewards program is split into three periods, August 15th = first period deadline, September 15th = second period deadline, and October 15th = third period deadline. At the time of the drawing, anyone who has placed a deposit on a Rayz season ticket will get one entry per season ticket, and will remain eligible for the contest throughout the remainder of the giveaway. August 15th marks the drawing date for the first period Rayz Reward. That Grand Prize award will offer a once in a lifetime opportunity to Rayz fans.

The winner of the third period Grand Prize will become a member of the Corpus Christi Rayz for one game in the 2004-2005 Central Hockey League regular season. The winner will sign an official CHL contract, dress in an official Rayz jersey with their name on the back, be on the ice for the opening face-off of a regular season game and remain on the bench as a team member throughout the game. With this prize, the winner will be entered into the official CHL record books as an actual member of the 2004-2005 Corpus Christi Rayz. This is the opportunity to turn a regular season ticket holder into an official professional hockey player.

"There is no bigger dream for a fan than to become an actual member of their favorite team," said Rayz General Manager, Larry Linde. "The Rayz are offering that opportunity to one very lucky person, and doing so to reward them for their support of their home town team. This is something that has never been done before."

Hit the links with your favorite members of the Corpus Christi Rayz. The winner will be treated to a complimentary round of golf along with Rayz players/coaches, and see how you and the Rayz fare at their second best sport.

- On the Air with the Rayz

Here's your chance to broadcast a Rayz game live from the American Bank Center. The winner will join the Rayz broadcast team during one of the home games and serve as the color analyst during the game.

- Rayz Autographed Memorabilia

Win your very own piece of Rayz history with an autographed piece of equipment from your favorite team. Fans can win their choice of a team autographed hockey stick or helmet.

GRAND PRIZE: Help Coach the Rayz

The winner will be side by side with Rayz Head Coach, Ken McRae for a Rayz home game in the 2004-2005 season. The lucky fan will get a behind the scenes look at coaching as they shadow Coach McRae in the locker room, and on the bench during the game.

First Prizes:

- Ceremonial Puck Drop

The winner will be introduced to the crowd at the American Bank Center during a Rayz home game and drop the ceremonial first puck of the game. The winner will keep the puck, along with an autographed commemorative photograph of the event.

- Support the Rayz All Over USA

Take your show on the road as the winner will receive two (2) free airline tickets aboard Delta Airlines, anywhere Delta flies in the Continental United States. You can follow the Rayz on a road trip, or just get away for the weekend. Don't forget your Rayz gear!

The winner will sign an official CHL contract with the Rayz, suit up for a regular season game, practice with the team and start the game for the Rayz. The newest member of the Rayz will have a jersey made with their name and number to keep along with their hockey stick.

- Practice With Rayz in Full Hockey Gear

This is your chance to see how well you match up with a professional hockey team, or just to get an in depth look at how the Rayz prepare for a game when no one is watching. This winner will have the chance to practice with the Rayz.

- Practice and Perform with the Rayz Dance Team

Heat up the ice with the Rayz Dance Team, as a Rayz season ticket holder will win their chance to practice and then perform with the Dance Team. Learn the moves, hang out with the ladies and then strut your stuff at center ice during a Rayz home game.
