Amarillo Gorillas News Release
Amarillo, TX - The Amarillo Gorillas will be out in the community this week, with player appearances scheduled for this week and next. The Gorillas will have players reading stories for children at Mesa Verde Elementary School today (Monday) from 1-3, and tomorrow at Belmar Elementary School from 2:15-3:15. On Wednesday the 5th, a pair of Gorillas all-stars will be making a public appearance, as David Nimmo and Shaun Arvai will be at Basildoc's Pizzeria signing autographs from 6-7 PM.
The Gorillas will be out at Fazoli's Restaurant again next Monday (the 10th) for a coloring party from 6:30-7:30 PM. Kids and fans can join Chris Martini, Bill Vandermeer and the newest member of the Gorillas Jeff Hansen, who will be on hand to sign autographs and meet fans at Fazoli's, located at 2512 S. Soncy Road.
