Cameron And Cacciola Pick Up CHL Weekly Honors

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas - The Texas Brahmas successful run to the playoffs has not gone unnoticed as the Central Hockey League (CHL) announced a clean sweep for the Oakley Player and Goaltender of the Week by forward Jordan Cameron and goalie David Cacciola.
In four games, Cameron netted eight points (2 G, 6 A) to keep the Brahmas five game winning streak on track. He has 52 points for the season (26 G, 26 A) in only 47 games played. Cameron has only been kept off the scoring sheet in 13 games this year.
Cacciola went 3-0 for the week to earn his 22nd victory of the season. On Tuesday, the 3-year CHL veteran collected his 2nd shutout for the Brahmas stopping all 37 shots against Northeast rival Youngstown SteelHounds. Overall, Cacciola stopped 100 of the 107 shots he faced for the week.
Brahmas head coach Dan Wildfong believes the duo was well deserving of the honor and happy to see them get the recognition from the league.
"Cameron has been playing outstanding hockey all season long and Cacciola has picked up his level of play in the games we need him most. The team has found success with the accomplishments of the two," said Wildfong.
