Gorillas broadcast changes for the weekend

AMARILLO, TX – The Amarillo Gorillas look to post back-to-back wins tonight when they travel to Lubbock to face the Cotton Kings at 7 p.m. at the Lubbock Municipal Coliseum. This is the home opener for the Cotton Kings after beginning their schedule in rival city of Amarillo last Saturday night where they fell to the Gorillas 4-2.

Tonight's game will be aired live on 1550 AM The Zone starting with the Farmer's Insurance Group Warm Up Show at 6:40 pm followed by all of the action of Amarillo Gorillas Hockey Presented by Bank of America at 7 p.m. The game was moved to 1550 to accommodate the high school football schedule and technical issues. Fans can also tune in on the World-Wide-Web at www.amarillogorillas.com.

The Gorillas conclude a short two-game weekend tomorrow night when they host the Tulsa Oilers at 7 p.m. at The Jungle in the Amarillo Civic Center. It's the Gorillas annual Halloween Party and fans are encouraged to wear a costume and they could win a prize. The Gorillas will also be dressed up in their Halloween jerseys and an auction follows in the Ape Escape.

The game will be aired live on 1440 AM The Score, beginning with the Farmer's Insurance Group Warm Up Show at 6:40 pm followed by all of the action of Amarillo Gorillas Hockey Presented by Bank of America shortly after 7 p.m. The game is also available on the world wide web at www.amarillogorillas.com and through pay-per-view at www.chltv.com.

Tickets for Saturday's game are available at the Gorillas hockey office located at 1934 Civic Circle (just off of I-40 and Georgia in the Wolflin Village); the Civic Center Box Office; At Panhandle Tickets located at Randy's Music Mart, the WT Event Center in Canyon and United Supermarkets.
