Winnipeg Goldeyes News Release

Tonight's Winnipeg Goldeyes game against the Sioux City Explorers at Lewis and Clark Park in Sioux City, Iowa has been suspended due to rain.

The two teams will play through the completion of tonight's game starting at 5 p.m. tomorrow. The regularly scheduled Wednesday night matchup will follow that and will now be seven innings.

When the game was called in the top of the fifth inning, the Goldeyes had just taken a 5-2 lead. The Fish had scored all five of their runs in the inning, with RBI coming from Brock Bond, Josh Mazzola, Tyler Kuhn, and Casey Haerther.

After wrapping up their series against the Explorers tomorrow, the Goldeyes will return home to take on the Wichita Wingnuts in a four-game series that starts Thursday at Shaw Park.

Tickets for all 2014 Winnipeg Goldeyes games are available through Ticketmaster by clicking on Goldeyes.com, calling 1-855-GOLDEYE or visiting any Ticketmaster location, including the Shaw Park box office.
