Winnipeg Goldeyes News Release
Winnipeg's roster is back to full capacity.
Goldeyes manager Rick Forney announced today the activation of right-handed pitcher Chris Homer. He had been on the Inactive List for the last month tending to some personal matters back home in Pennsylvania.
Before leaving, Homer had been amazing, tossing five-plus innings of scoreless baseball out of the bullpen while posting a club-low .105 opposition average. With today's move, the Goldeyes have 22 players on their roster, split evenly between pitchers and position players.
Winnipeg opens a six-game homestand tonight with the first of three games against Fargo-Moorhead. Game time is 7:00 and great seats starting at just $5 are available at all Ticketmaster locations, including the ballpark box office, by calling 780-3333 or visiting ticketmaster.ca.
