
Golden State Warriors Assign Kent Bazemore & Malcolm Thomas to Santa Cruz Warriors

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - The Golden State Warriors have re-assigned guard/forward Kent Bazemore and assigned forward Malcolm Thomas to the Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA Development League, the team announced today. Both players are slated to join Golden State's D-League affiliate in time for the team's home game tonight in Santa Cruz against the Reno Bighorns at Kaiser Permanente Arena (7:00 p.m. tipoff).
Bazemore, 23, has appeared in 45 games with Golden State this season, averaging 1.8 points in 4.4 minutes per contest. He has previously been assigned to Santa Cruz four times this season, averaging 23.0 points, 6.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 4.75 steals and 34.0 minutes in four games.
Thomas, 24, was signed by Golden State to a 10-day contract last Friday (March 8) and has appeared in two games with the Warriors, tallying one point and two rebounds in nine total minutes. Prior to signing with Golden State, Thomas appeared in one D-League game this season with the Los Angeles D-Fenders, in which he registered 13 points, 17 rebounds, four assists, three steals and one block in 41 minutes versus Texas on Wednesday, March 6.
