
Golden State Warriors Assign Guard Jacob Evans III to Santa Cruz

SANTA CRUZ, CA - The back-to-back NBA Champion Golden State Warriors have assigned guard Jacob Evans III to the Santa Cruz Warriors, both teams announced today. Santa Cruz will play the winner of tonight's Oklahoma City Blue and Salt Lake City Stars matchup on Friday, March 29 in the NBA G League Western Conference Semifinals (tip-off 7:00 p.m. PDT) on NBC Sports Bay Area Plus.
Evans III (6'6, 210) has appeared in 21 games (16 starts) with the Santa Cruz Warriors this season, averaging 11.3 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 26.1 minutes.
The first-year guard from the University of Cincinnati, who was selected with the 28th overall selection in the 2018 NBA Draft, has appeared in 27 games for Golden State this season, tallying 0.8 points, 0.6 rebounds and 0.6 assists in 5.0 minutes per game.
