Golden Eagles to Host Independence Day Doubleheader Exhibition

Glens Falls, NY - Monday, July 4th, the #12 nationally-ranked Glens Falls Golden Eagles will celebrate Independence Day with an exhibition doubleheader series of games at 3pm and 5pm vs. the Suffern Blue Devils of the Westchester Rockland Wood Bat League.

The Suffern Blue Devils play in the Westchester Rockland Wood Bat League, a summer collegiate baseball league serving the New York metropolitan area. The league was founded in 1994 and includes 15 competitive teams featuring collegiate ballplayers, recent graduates, and former professional players.

The Glens Falls Golden Eagles play in the newly founded Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League (PGCBL). The PGCBL was founded in the fall of 2010 by eight teams located across upstate New York in conjunction with Perfect Game USA, baseball's largest scouting service.
