Glens Falls, N.Y - The Glens Falls Dragons hosted the Saugerties Stallions on Strike Out Cancer Night at East Field. Glens Falls held leads of 3-0 and 6-5, but Saugerties scored two runs in the seventh and held on for a 7-6 win in PGCBL action.
Carlos Pino (Nyack), Cam. Coakley (Stetson), Derek Ripp (Arkansas) and Herman Alvarado (Nyack) each had two hits for Saugerties. Alvarado had a pair of RBIs for the Stallions who pounded out 12 hits.
Danny Ryan (Fairfield) was 3 for 5 for the Dragons. Matt Hamel (Siena), Anthony Vaglica (LIU-Post), Phoenix Hernandez (Southern New Hampshire) and Brian Hart (Monmouth) all had two hits for Glens Falls. Zach Fritz had three RBIs.
Dillon Good (Lock Haven) was the winning pitcher for Saugerties. Good pitched two innings of relief to advance his record to 3-1. He gave up three hits, two runs, struck out two and didn't walk a batter.
Trey Hinkle (Bloomsburg) earned the save, his sixth of the season.
