Goaltender Ford Recalled To Texas

North Charleston, SC - The Kelly Cup Champion South Carolina Stingrays announced today that goaltender Todd Ford has been recalled to the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League.

Ford, 25, leaves the Stingrays with a 16-6-1 record, a 2.88 goals-against average and a.910 save percentage. The Calgary, AB native currently ranks first overall in the ECHL in wins, saves (690) and minutes played (1416). A 2002 NHL draft pick by Toronto, Ford has appeared in 14 AHL games with the Toronto Marlies going 6-5-0 with a 2.92 GAA and.885 save percentage.
