Saskatchewan Rush News Release
Saskatoon, SK - The Saskatchewan Rush in partnership with TD want to help Rush Nation GO GREEN ahead of the upcoming 2019-2020 season.
Since 2010, over 390,000 native trees and shrubs have been planted in communities across North America through TD Tree Days, and this fall thousands of volunteers will come together to further enhance over 100 green spaces for everyone to enjoy. TD has a goal of planting 1 million trees by 2030 as part of The Ready Commitment, and this year they've recruited the Saskatchewan Rush to help reach their mandate.
Rush Nation is invited to join forward Jeff Shattler, Saskatchewan Rush staff, TD employees and family members/friends on Saturday, September 29, 2019 from 9:00AM to 12:00PM, to help plant 300 trees as part of Saskatoon's urban forest footprint.
Location: Kinnear Road, in the North Industrial area near Silverwood Golf Course and the new Chief Mistawasis Bridge
