SAVANNAH, GA
- The Savannah Sand Gnats and Greenville Drive were suspended by unplayable field conditions created by heavy rain in the Savannah area Saturday night.
The teams completed four and a half innings with Greenville leading 1-0.
The game will be completed when the Gnats visit Greenville from August 18 to 21.
The Gnats will begin a four-game series against the Asheville Tourists, SAL affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, Sunday evening at 6:05 pm.
RHP Ryan Fraser (7-7, 3.30) will take on RHP Josh Mueller (5-5, 4.66) in the opening game of the four-game series.
