Gladiators to Play Only Pre-Season Game in Augusta

The Gwinnett Gladiators announced their pre-season schedule for the 2006-07 season today. The Gladiators will play one pre-season game this year as they travel to Augusta to take on the Lynx on Saturday, October 14th at 7:35 p.m. at the Augusta Richmond County Civic Center.
Tickets for the pre-season game in Augusta are only $5 for adults. With the purchase of an adult ticket, up to four children 17 years of age and under will receive entrance into the game for free. The Gladiators will not play a home pre-season game prior to the beginning of the 2006-07 regular season. Gwinnett will look to begin its defense of its 2006 ECHL American Conference Championship on opening night at home on Friday, October 20th at 7:35 p.m. against the South Carolina Stingrays at the Arena at Gwinnett Center.
The Gwinnett Gladiators open their fourth season as a proud member of the ECHL in October of 2006 - season tickets are on sale now. The Gladiators are the AA affiliate of the Atlanta Thrashers and play all home games on the Your Best Rate Financial Home Ice at the spectacular 11,355-seat at the Arena at Gwinnett Center, located just off I-85 on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth, where parking is always free.
