
Royals Add To Front Office Staff and Promote Several Others

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League and the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, today announced that the team has added two new members to the front office staff and has promoted several other staff members. Specifically, the Royals have added Marketing Assistant Theresa Woods and Ticket Sales Coordinator Brian Panucci ("pah NEW chee") to the front office staff. Also, the Royals have promoted Stephanie Schneider, who has been with the Royals since the team's inception, to the position of Executive Director of Business Operations. Three members of the Royals' ticketing department received promotions: Ticket Sales Manager Brian Choyka, Ticket Sales Coordinator Ted Minner and Ticketing Assistant Susie Hempenstall. As he enters his third season with the team, Greg Shober was recently promoted to the position of Merchandise and Promotions Manager. Brenna Temple and Eric Long, both of whom are entering their second season with the Royals, also received promotions. Brenna is now the organization's Senior Manager Entertainment Marketing, while Eric is the team's Production Coordinator, as well as an Account Manager.
Theresa Woods joins the Royals after spending last season as a Game Operations Intern with the Hershey Bears during that team's run to the American Hockey League's Calder Cup Championship. Woods, who hails from Carlisle, Pennsylvania, graduated last December from Lebanon Valley College in Annville, Pennsylvania, where she majored in Historical Communications. Brian Panucci, a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, joins the Royals after a season with the Orlando Magic of the NBA where he was a member of the team's Inside Sales staff. Panucci graduated from the Sports Management program at Robert Morris University where he was a member of the school's American Collegiate Hockey Association's national championship team in 2002.
Full season tickets and total choice flex plans for the 2006-07 season of Royals' hockey are currently on sale. Individual game tickets for the Royals' regular season go on sale to season ticket holders on Monday, September 18, and to the general public on Monday, September 25.
