Gladiators Release Four from Training Camp

The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that they have released four players from training camp. The Gladiators have released forwards Matt Auffrey, Travis Fuller as well as defenseman Blake Cosgrove and Brandon Gentile.

Fuller and Gentile skated parts of last season with the Gladiators while Auffrey was signed by Gwinnett on June 23rd and Cosgrove was inked by the Gladiators on August 3rd.

The Gladiators training camp roster now stands at 20 players with 8 defensemen, 10 forwards and 2 goaltenders.

The Gladiators continue to prepare for the 2009-10 season opener scheduled for Saturday, October 17th at the Arena at Gwinnett Center at 7:05 p.m. against the Wheeling Nailers.

The Gladiators open their 7th season in the ECHL on Saturday, October 17th and Sunday, October 18th against the Wheeling Nailers. The Gladiators are the AA affiliate of the Atlanta Thrashers and Columbus Blue Jackets and play all home games at the 11,355-seat Arena at Gwinnett Center, located just off I-85 on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth.
