Tulsa Oilers News Release

Giving Thanks:The Tulsa Oilers spend Thanksgiving week renewing some old acquaintances. They visit the Wichita Thunder Wednesday at 7:05 p.m., host Wichita Friday at 7:35 p.m. and host the Odessa Jackalopes Saturday at 7:35 p.m. That will be the first of three games with Odessa over a 13 day span. All Oilers games are available at www.tulsaoilers.com.

Back On Track:Sunday the Oilers got back on the winning track with a 4-2 win over Wichita. Earlier in the week the Oilers lost a pair of games to Mississippi, 3-1 and 6-4 and lost at Texas 6-2.

Lucky 11: Right winger Michel Beausoleil has stretched his point streak to 11 games. Since being held off the scoresheet in the season opener, Beausoleil has had at least one point in each game he has played. He leads the Oilers in scoring with six goals and 13 assists for 19 points.

Four Helpers: Jeff Christian had four assists in the win over Wichita on Sunday. He now has five goals and 12 assists for 17 points on the season.

Riddle Out: Left wing Jake Riddle suffered a knee injury early in the game at Texas on Saturday, that will keep him out an indefinite period of time. That may have been the only thing that could stop him as he was heating up with four goals in his previous four games, and six goals and one assist in the previous five games.

Some Firsts: The Oilers added center Jereme Tendler, and left wing Brett Connolly to their roster. Tendler scored his first Oiler goal in the win over Wichita and Connolly registered his first Oiler point with an assist at Texas. Also defenseman Kevin Hansen scored his first Oiler goal in Sunday's win.

Family Fun: Family four packs are available for the Oiler home games this weekend. That's four tickets, four hot dogs, and four soft drinks all for only $59.

Tickets Here: Tickets for all Oilers games are available at the BOK Center box office or by calling 866-7-BOK-CTR (726-5287). Tickets can also be purchased on line at www.tulsaoilers.com and at area Reasor's and Homeland Grocery Stores.
