The Bucks look to win their sixth straight game Tuesday, and finish their home stand with a 6-1 mark.

Laredo as ascended to the top of the Southern Conference during their two-week stay at home, as they have outscored their opponents 17-6 in winning their last five games.

The Bucks won their fifth straight game Saturday night, when they hung on to beat Amarillo 2-1. Laredo was the recipient of two power-play goals Saturday night, one each by Rick Kozak and Darryl Smith. Rookie goaltender Ryan Gibb won his third straight game in net, as he set aside 27 of 28 shots.

Jeff Bes is having another solid season for the Bucks, as he is tied for third in the CHL in scoring with 24 points (3-21-22), including a league-high 12 game point streak. Bes' 21 assists, including 12 on the power-play, are tops in the league.

Tuesday's game will be a reunion of sorts, as five players will face their former teams. Sebastien Centomo and Rick Kozak each played parts of two seasons with Mississippi, while Bobby Chaumont, Kevin Beech, and Matt Summers each played for Terry Ruskowski in Laredo.

Centomo and Beech are likely to start Tuesday, as both goaltender's did not play in their teams games on Saturday night.

Mississippi comes into Tuesday's contest ending a three-game road trip, where they are 1-1 thus far. The Riverkings beat Tulsa 6-4 on Friday, before falling to Corpus Christi 3-2 on Saturday.

The Riverkings currently sit in fourth place in the Northern Conference with 16 points, just three points behind Bossier-Shreveport (19pts).

Louis Dumont leads Mississippi in scoring with 17 points (8-9=17), while Chaumont has 14 points (9-4=15).

Beech is 8-5 in net for the Riverkings, with a 2.76 G.A.A, and a .889 save percentage.

The Bucks will play in Arizona on Friday and Saturday, in a re-match of last season's Southern Conference Finals. Both games in the Desert start at 8:05pm Laredo time.

The Bucks will return home December 4-5, when they host Rio Grande Valley and Arizona.
