Gimblett Earns Spirit Player of the Week Honors

Spirit forward Jesse Gimblett has earned the Saginaw Spirit player of the week honors for the week ending January 11th, 2004. Gimblett had a goal and two assists, and was plus 1 in three games during the week.

Gimblett is an 18 year old native of Newtonville, Ontario in his third season in the OHL. The Spirit acquired Gimblett in a trade with Owen Sound in June of 2003.

The Saginaw Spirit, Mid-Michigan's Ontario Hockey League (OHL) Franchise plays 34 home games from September to March. The OHL is part of the Canadian Hockey League (CHL), which also includes the Western Hockey League (WHL) and the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL).
