
Giants Lose 3-2 to the Royals in Overtime

VICTORIA, BC - Joe Hicketts scored 36 seconds into overtime to give the Victoria Royals a 3-2 win over the Vancouver Giants Saturday night at the Save On Foods Memorial Centre.
Ty Ronning scored at 6:22 of the third period to tie the game and force the overtime.
Cain Franson had the other Giants goal which was scored on the power play.
Jared Rathjen made 33 saves in the game and was given second star honours.
The Giants had 25 shots on goal and went 1-for-2 on the power play.
