The Vancouver Giants concluded the 2014/15 season with a 5-2 loss to the Kelowna Rockets on Saturday night at Prospera Place. Zane Jones and Gage Ramsay had goals for Vancouver in the losing cause.

The Rockets jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first period as Cole Martin opened the scoring just 24 seconds into the contest before Tyrell Goulbourne netted his 22nd of the year and Cole Linaker chipped in with a goal of his own.

Leon Draisaitl tallied his first of the night in the middle frame to extend the Kelowna lead to four goals before Jones put Vancouver on the board, scoring his team leading 29th of the year in his final WHL game. Ramsay scored less than a minute later to pull Vancouver back to within two goals, but Draisaitl would score again to make it 5-2.

Neither team scored in the third period, and the Rockets outshot the Giants 51-23 in the game.
