LANCASTER - Ricky Oropesa had four hits and five RBI's as part of a perfect night at the plate to lead the San Jose Giants to a 15-8 victory over the Lancaster JetHawks on Thursday evening at The Hangar. Jarrett Parker added four RBI's while Joe Panik scored four runs as the Giants salvaged the final game of the series. San Jose's 15 runs matched a season-high.

Oropesa (4-for-4, 2 2B, 5 RBI) became the first Giants player to drive home five runs in a game this season to lead a 13-hit offensive attack. Parker (2-for-4, 3B, 4 RBI, SB) had a key three-run triple while Panik (2-for-5, 2B, 2 RBI), Alex Burg (2-for-4, 2B, RBI) and Chris Lofton (2-for-4) also contributed two hits apiece.

San Jose trailed by a 3-0 score until breaking through with three runs in the top of the fourth. Panik started the rally by drawing a walk before Oropesa singled and Burg walked to load the bases with none out. Parker was up next and he lined an 0-1 pitch into the right center field gap for a triple as all three runners came home to score. The triple was Parker's team-leading fourth of the season. The Giants though were unable to get Parker home with the go-ahead run as after Andrew Susac walked, Luke Anders lined into a double play to first base and Bobby Haney grounded out.

San Jose came right back with three more runs in the top of the fifth inning. A walk to Lofton began the frame before Carter Jurica singled. Panik then bounced into a fielder's choice as Jurica was forced out at second before Oropesa lifted a sacrifice fly to left plating Lofton for a 4-3 Giants advantage. Burg followed with an RBI double off the wall in left and then Parker grounded a single up the middle to score another run and make it 6-3.

Anders drew a leadoff walk before Lofton singled and Jurica walked to load the bases with one out. Panik then a lined a double into the right field corner to score two runs. Oropesa was up next and he hammered a double to the fence in right center plating two more runs for a 10-3 lead. A pair of wild pitches with a runner at third base scored another two runs and then Anders hit a sacrifice fly to left to extend the Giants lead to 13-3.

Lancaster got two runs back in the bottom of the sixth against reliever Shawn Sanford as Chris Epps led off by reaching on an error before Ben Heath connected for a two-run homer to right center.

San Jose scored in their fourth straight inning in the top of the seventh as singles from Lofton and Panik put two runners on before Oropesa clubbed another two-RBI double.

In the bottom of the seventh, the JetHawks cut the lead to 15-8 as Epps belted a three-run homer to straightaway center off of Drew Bowlin. Bowlin left the game after yielding a two-out singe, but Edward Concepcion entered the contest and promptly struck out Chan Moon on three pitches to end the inning.

Chris Wilson and Jose Valdez then fired perfect eighth and ninth innings respectively to end the game.

Phil McCormick (2-0) was credited with the win out of the Giants bullpen after holding Lancaster off the scoreboard in the third and fourth innings. McCormick allowed two hits with no walks and four strikeouts during his stint on the mound.

The JetHawks jumped out to an early 3-0 lead with three runs in the bottom of the second against San Jose starter Seth Rosin.
