Kamloops Blazers News Release

Jonathan Blum scored twice and added two assists - all on the powerplay - as the Giants went 5-for-10 with the extra man en route to a 7-1 win over the Blazers on Sunday night in Vancouver. Scott Wasden scored the lone Blazer goal early in the third period. The Giants held period leads of 3-0 and 5-0 and added two more in the third - including a shorthanded goal - the put the game away. Final shots were 47-24 Vancouver with Tyson Sexsmith getting the win and Justin Leclerc taking the loss. The Blazers were 0-for-5 on the PP.

Next up: a visit by Medicine Hat on Tuesday.
