Saskatoon Blades News Release

The Saskatoon Blades are happy to announce that they will be giving their fans numerous opportunities to give back this holiday season as the team nears its Christmas Break.

The Blades have teamed up with C95 and want to ensure that every home in Saskatoon has food on their dinner table on Christmas Day. At the Blades final two home games before the Christmas break, all Blades fans are being encouraged to bring one or more non-perishable food items in support of the Saskatoon Food Bank. Food bank bins will be set up at the main entrances to Credit Union Centre on both December 12th and December 15th for donations.

The December 12th evening is also Adopt a Family Night where fans will be able to win great prizes by purchasing stocking stuffers at the game. Then, in the 2nd intermission, three fans will be randomly selected for a very special intermission promotion where hundreds of Christmas presents will be dropping from the rafters!

The Blades will also be hosting the Global Toque Toss night on December 15th where fans can throw any toques, scarves, or mittens that they bring to the game on the ice when the Blades score their first goal, all in an effort to keep Saskatoon citizens warm this winter! The game is the first Budget Rent a Car and Storage rain check night of the year where any unused, expired ticket from the 2007/08 season can be used for this one game for just $2. It is also the last opportunity to see the Blades in action at Credit Union Centre prior to the Christmas break.

For tickets to the December 12th or 15th games, visit ticketmaster.ca or call Ticketmaster at 306.938.7800. Tickets are also available by visiting any Ticketmaster outlet.
