Gettinger, Kopacka Wrap up All-American Prospects Game

With NHL scouts and General Managers eyes set on the ice, 42 of the best U.S. players eligible for next year's (2016) NHL Entry Draft, took to the ice at the First Niagara Centre in Buffalo, New York on Thursday Night.

Among those playing were a pair of Greyhounds, TIM GETTINGER and JACK KOPACKA.

Both were members of Team Roenick.

The North Olmsted, OH product (Gettinger) provided Team Roenick the 2-1 lead after twenty minutes, with his goal just shy of the ten minute mark and ended the night with the point for his squad who eventually fell by a score of 6-4.

Gettinger was paired alongside Mitch Mattson (Bloomington Thunder - USHL) and Graham McPhee (US National Under 18 Team) while Kopacka skated left wing alongside former OHL Luke Kirwan (Windsor Spitfires) and James Sanchez (US National Under 18 Team)

Both players will now return to Sault Ste. Marie and prep for the club's HOME OPENER tomorrow (Friday), 7:07 p.m. versus the Windsor Spitfires.
