Mississippi Braves News Release

Wednesday, August 29, Community Animal Rescue and Adoption, Inc. will be at Trustmark Park with small animals in need of adoption. Bring a bag of dry pet food and receive half off regular pricing on a field level seat. A CARA representative will be on hand outside each ticket office to swap pet food for a 50% off voucher on a regularly priced field level seat. Vouchers must be redeemed for a ticket before entering the park.

Community Animal Rescue & Adoption, Inc. (CARA) is Mississippi's largest non-profit "no-kill" animal rescue shelter for abused, unwanted and stray dogs and cats.

Every year across the metro area, hundreds of pets are neglected and abused. Unwanted dogs and cats don't have to be a fact of life. At CARA, we provide pets to families who are ready to provide love and a healthy home. So if you already have a pet, please have it spayed or neutered. And if you're looking for a furry addition to your home, come see us. The expenses for our programs and services are supported by your donations. CARA receives no funds from the city, county, state or federal government.

Go to CaraMS.org for more information and to see photos of adoptable pets.
