
Cottrell moves up to Montgomery

MONTGOMERY - Third baseman Patrick Cottrell has been promoted to the Montgomery Biscuits from Class A-Advanced Visalia, the Biscuits announced Monday.
In 117 games with Vero Beach, the 25-year-old Alabama native batted .258 with 10 home runs and 60 runs driven in. This will be Cottrell's first appearance at the Class-AA level.
The Biscuits currently have 23 players on their active roster, with two players on the disabled list and one on the restricted list.
