MONTGOMERY - Heavy rainfall postponed the third game of a five-game series between the Montgomery Biscuits and Carolina Mudcats on Monday night at Riverwalk Stadium. The game will be made up Tuesday as part of a doubleheader comprised of two seven-inning games, with the opener starting at 6:05 p.m.

The nightcap will begin approximately 30 minutes after the the first game concludes.

Righthander Chris Mason (14-4, 2.56) and lefthander Mike Prochaska (6-7, 4.01) will serve as the Biscuits' starters, opposed by Mudcats righthander Gaby Hernandez (9-9, 3.54) and southpaw Blake McGinley (6-8, 4.31).

Montgomery is currently riding a franchise-record eight-game winning streak that has vaulted the squad to first place of the Southern League's South Division, two games above the Jacksonville Suns. Only eight games remain in the regular season.

A ticket to Monday night's game may be exchanged for a ticket of equal or lesser value to either Tuesday or Wednesday night's affairs at Riverwalk Stadium, the Biscuits' last remaining regular season home games. The exchange may be made in person at the box office.
