
George Reed to attend Raider Game January 12

Prince Albert, Saskatchewan- Saskatchewan Roughrider legendary running back George Reed will be the guest of the Prince Albert Raiders at their Western Hockey League game Wednesday, January 12th when they host the Brandon Wheat Kings at 7 PM. Reed will be in Prince Albert to promote the Saskatchewan Special Olympics Winter Games which will be hosted in PA February 11-13.
Before the game and during intermissions Raider fans can sign up to volunteer to assist with the Special O Winter Games. Also a raffle will be held by the Prince Albert Chapter of Special Olympics with prizes including: vouchers to Saskatchewan Roughrider games, an autographed George Reed jersey and breakfast with George Reed on January 13th.
The Raiders and Special Olympics will be announcing during the 2nd intermission the special guest for their 6th annual Sask Power Training for Life Breakfast Tuesday, March 22nd at 7 AM in the Ches Leach Lounge. The first 5 Power Breakfasts have all sold out with over $25,000 raised for both Special Olympics and the Raider Education Fund.
