Team Notes: The Generals streak of five games ending in a shootout ended with a regulation loss on Friday in Bloomington...The Generals are tied with Quad City for most shootout losses this season with 9...The Generals lead the league with 88 power play goals and are second in power play percentage at 18.1%...The Generals won twice last week when trailing after two periods of play, the only two wins on the season when trail after two periods.

Wednesday, March 14 Flint 9 @ Chicago 8 SO
The Generals final trip of the season to Chicago was the highest scoring game of the year. The Generals trailed 3-2 after one period with Tyson Turgeon and Shaun Fisher scoring for Flint. The Generals took a 4-3 lead in the second period on goals by John Osborne and Jeff Zehr. Chicago scored three times to lead 6-4 after two periods. The Generals tied the game 6-6 in the third period on goals by Jordan Fox and Shawn Snider. The Hounds reclaimed the lead 8-6 later in the period. Zehr scored his second of the game and Jason Selleke tied the game 8-8 in the final minute of regulation. The Generals outscored the Hounds 3-0 in the shootout for the win. Jason Muzzatti made 27 saves on 35 shots for the win.
Friday, March 16 Flint 4 @ Bloomington 6
The Generals streak of five consecutive games going to a shootout ended with a loss in Bloomington. Flint took a 1-0 lead on the only first period goal, scored by Bobby Reynolds. Bogdan Rudenko gave Flint a 2-1 lead in the second period, less than a minute after Bloomington tied the game. The Prairie Thunder tied the game 2-2 before the second period ended. Jeff Zehr scored a power play goal in the third period to Flint the lead for the third time. Bloomington answered with a pair of goals to take its first lead of the game. Gerard Miller scored for the Generals to tie the game 4-4. Bloomington added a power play goal and an empty net goal for the 6-4 win. Jason Muzzatti made 21 saves on 26 shots in the loss.
Saturday, March 17 Flint 2 @ Muskegon 1 SO
This was the final game of the season for the Generals in Quad City. The teams traded goals in the first period with Shawn Snider scoring for the Generals. Mike Kinnie gave Flint a 2-1 lead in the second period, but the Mallards answered with a pair of goals to take a 3-2 lead after two periods. The Generals got third period goals from Jeff Zehr, Jan Jas and Bobby Reynolds, but Quad City scored four third period goals to win 7-5. The Generals fell to 0-6-0 against the Mallards this season, 0-5-0 in Quad City. Bryan Worosz made 25 saves on 31 shots in the loss.
Sunday, March 18 Port Huron 6 @ Flint 5 SO
The Generals finished the four game road trip in Rockford with another game decided in a shootout. The teams traded goals all game with the Generals never leading until the final score. The Generals got goals from Shaun Fisher, Bobby Reynolds, Jan Jas and Martin Ondrej during regulation. The Generals outscored the IceHogs 4-3 in the shootout for the win. Bryan Worosz made 23 saves on 27 shots for the win.

Wednesday, March 21 Fort Wayne @ Flint Postponed
The Generals had to reschedule the game against Fort Wayne until Wednesday, March 28 due to a conflict with Perani Arena. All tickets that have been purchased for the game originally scheduled for March 21 will be honored for the game on March 28.
Friday, March 23 Muskegon @ Flint 7:30p.m.
This will be the final meeting of the regular season between the Generals and the Fury. The Generals are 3-6-1against the Fury this season, 0-4-0 at home. The Generals are 2-1-1 in the last four games with Muskegon.
Saturday, March 24 Quad City @ Flint 7:30p.m.
The Generals host the Mallards for the second time this season. The Generals are looking for its first win of the season against the Mallards. Flint is 0-6-0 against Quad City this season, 0-1-0 at home. The final game of the season against Quad City will be April 6 in Flint.
Generals Player of the Week:
The Generals Player of the Week is Tyson Turgeon. Turgeon had eight points in four games last week on one goal and seven assists. He also played at a +4 rating.
Generals Goaltender of the Week:
The Generals Goaltender of the Week is Bryan Worosz. Worosz went 1-1-0 in two games last week. He made 48 saves on 58 shots for a .828 save percentage and had a 5.00 goals against average.
