Player Notes: Jason Selleke became the second Generals player to reach 20 goals this season with a goal on Saturday night, Jeff Zehr leads the team with 22 goals...Martin Ondrej and Sean Kotary are the only players to appear in all 60 games for the Generals...Bogdan Rudenko and Ryan Jorde each recorded a point with an assist in their first game with the Generals on Saturday night...Rudenko scored his first goal with Flint on Sunday...Gerard Miller is fourth in the league in scoring among defensemen with 40 points.

Team Notes: The Generals lead the league with 80 power play goals and have the second best power play percentage at 18.3%...The Generals are last in the league in shots on goal for at 29.25...The Generals are on a 0-38 streak on the power play, their last power play goal was at 19:13 of the first period on February 16, a stretch of 6 2/3 games...The Generals haven't won consecutive games since winning six in a row from January 14 - January 27.

Friday, March 2 Flint 1 @ Elmira 4

The Generals traveled to Elmira for the final time during the regular season to begin a three game weekend. Shawn Snider gave the Generals a 1-0 lead with an unassisted goal at 11:55 of the first period. The Jackals tied the game 1-1 on a Jeff Daw goal at 18:33. Daw scored his second goal of the game at 1:55 of the third period to give Elmira a 2-1 lead. Erik Anderson scored at 18:51 and Frank Littlejohn added an empty net goal at 19:23 to end the scoring. Bryan Worosz made 17 saves on 20 shots in the loss.

Saturday, March 3 Elmira 4 @ Flint 5

The Generals returned home against Elmira winless in its last four games. The Jackals scored to take a 1-0 lead at 7:15 of the first period. Jason Selleke scored his 20th goal of the season at 7:43 to tie the game 1-1. Jeff Zehr gave the Generals the lead at 13:20 with his 21st goal of the season. Bobby Reynolds scored his first goal of the game at 11:28 of the second period to give the Generals a 3-1 lead. The Jackals would cut the Generals lead to 3-2 with a goal at 17:36. Zehr recorded his second goal of the game 46 seconds into the third period for a 4-2 Flint lead. E;mira tied the game 4-4 with goals at 1:05 and 7:05, the second goal while on a power play. Reynolds scored his second goal of the game at 18:04 to give the Generals a 5-4 lead, and eventual win. Jason Muzzatti made 28 saves on 32 shots for the win.

Sunday, March 4 Chicago 4 @ Flint 2

The Generals hosted the Hounds for the second and final time during the regular season, having lost the first game in Flint 5-0. Chicago took a 1-0 lead at 10:16 of the first period with a power play goal. The Generals tied the game 1-1 at 13:56 on a Jan Jas goal. Chicago reclaimed the lead at 2:48 of the second period with a shorthanded goal. Bogdan Rudenko scored his first goal with the Generals and 19th of the season at 8:54 to tie the game 2-2. The Hounds scored twice in the third period, at 17:55 and 18:40, to take a 4-2 lead. Jason Muzzatti made 31 saves on 35 shots in the loss.

PREVIEW OF UPCOMING GENERALS GAMES March 5 - March 11

Wednesday, March 7 Elmira @ Flint 7:15p.m.

The Generals host the Jackals for the final time during the regular season. The Generals enter the final meeting against the Jackals 5-6-1 on the season, 3-3-0 at home.

Friday, March 9 Fort Wayne @ Flint 7:30p.m.

The Komets travel to Flint for the third of four regular season games scheduled. The Generals are 0-0-2 against the Komets at home, 1-1-2 overall. The teams will play each other two more times during the regular season.

Saturday, March 10 Flint @ Muskegon 7:30p.m.

This will be the final game in Muskegon for the Generals during the regular season. The Generals are 2-6-1 against the Fury, 2-2-1 in Muskegon. The Generals and the Fury will play each other one more time after this game.

Sunday, March 11 Port Huron @ Flint 4:00p.m.

The Flags travel to Flint for the final time this season to end the Generals week. The teams will play each other one more time this season, in Port Huron. The Generals enter the game 6-2-1 against the Flags, 4-1-0 in Flint. The Generals have won four straight home games against the Flags.

Generals Player of the Week:

The Generals Player of the Week is Jeff Zehr. Zehr had four points in three games last week on two goals and two assists. He had two goals and an assist on Saturday against Elmira and an assist on Sunday against Chicago.

Generals Goaltender of the Week:

The Generals Goaltender of the Week is Jason Muzzatti. Muzzatti went 1-1-0 in two games last week. He made 28 saves in a 5-4 win on Saturday and 31 saves in a 4-2 loss on Sunday. Muzzatti made 59 saves on 67 shots for a .881 save percentage and had a goals against average of 4.00

Record for week: 1-2-0, 2 point

Record for season: 25-29-6, 56 points - 3rd in Eastern Conference
