Oshawa, ON- The Generals announced today they have sent Defenseman Daniel Robertson to the Windsor Spitfires in exchange for a 3rd round selection.
"This is an opportunity for Daniel to play for a Memorial Cup contender while returning to play for his hometown Windsor Spitfires" said Vice President and General Manager Roger Hunt. "He was a big part of our organization here and will leave Oshawa as a Memorial Cup winner. Hopefully he has that chance to get another championship to his name with his new team."
The Oshawa Generals would like to wish Daniel all the best in his pursuit of the Memorial Cup with the Spitfires and we thank him for his efforts on and off the ice during his time as a General.
