Flint Generals News Release

FLINT, MI - The Flint Generals announced Friday afternoon, the addition of center Ben Boudreau to the lineup. Boudreau will hit the ice with the Generals tonight when they take on the PrairieThunder in Bloomington.

In the second year of his professional career, the 25-year old St. Catharines, ONT native and son of Washington Capitals Head Coach Bruce Boudreau is no stranger to professional hockey.

The 5'10" 170 pound center appeared in 13 games for the Generals last season scoring before heading to South Carolina and finally Wichita. Boudreau began the 2009-10 season with the Louisiana IceGators.

"Ben is an intelligent player that Peter (South, the Generals GM) has a past with and he quickly fills a void in the lineup," says Head Coach Jason Muzzatti.

Boudreau and the Generals are in Bloomington tonight and then head to Moline, IL to take on the Quad City Mallards Sunday for a 5:00pm puck drop. They face Port Huron Wed. at McMorran Arena and then are back at Perani Friday, Dec. 18th when the IceHawks come to town for game two of a home and home as the Gens host Toys for Tots Night.

Tickets for the Friday, Dec. 18th game are on sale at the Perani Arena Ticket Office, by phone at 810-744-0580, or through Ticketmaster.
