Oshawa Generals News Release
The Oshawa Generals will look for two crucial points tonight as they host their East Division rival Ottawa 67's.
The Generals can tie the 67's in points (21) with a regulation win tonight with two games in hand.
Ottawa has three of the first four meetings between these two teams this season; the most recent two were at Tribute Communities Centre. In both those games, Ottawa scored multiple goals in short 3-4-minute stretches to help propel them to victory.
Will Cranley is the projected starter tonight for the Ottawa 67's. He owns a .892 save percentage and a 3.38 goals-against average this season.
It's no surprise that Patrick Leaver is projected to get his 4th consecutive start for the Generals. He has a .914 save percentage and a 2.99 goals-against average in his OHL rookie season..
The action gets underway tonight at 7:35 pm as the Oshawa Generals look to win their 2nd game of this five-game homestand.
