Generals Announce Schedule Changes

December 20, 2002 - ECHL (ECHL)
Greensboro Generals News Release

Greensboro, NC — The Greensboro Generals of the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) have announced two of their home games are being rescheduled. The Generals home game originally set for Saturday, February 15 against the Roanoke Express is being moved to Sunday, February 16 at 4:00 p.m. The Generals are also moving their Saturday, March 1 game against the Cincinnati Cyclones to Monday, March 3 at 7:00 p.m.

Any people holding tickets for either of the two games can use the same tickets on the new game dates. If the new dates are inconvenient, season ticket holders can use unused tickets for Generals games on January 11, March 28, or March 29. Greensboro Coliseum policies do not allow refunds of tickets.

The game changes were necessitated by concerts being held at the Greensboro Coliseum. The group Phish is performing on March 1, and a concert yet to be announced will be held on February 15.

The Generals begin a home-and-home series with the Richmond Renegades this weekend, playing at Richmond tonight at 7:35 and hosting them on Saturday at 7:30. The Generals will "White Out" the competition with the help of Hanes on Saturday. The first one thousand fans in the building will receive a Hanes tagless t-shirt and a sharpie. The shirts and sharpies can be put to good use after the game, with Generals players holding an autograph session after the game. Ticket prices range from $10.00 - $17.00, with tickets as low as $8.00 for students and seniors. Generals Flex Plans for six, twelve, and 18 games are also available for as little as $50.00. Fans can receive season ticket and other information by clicking on the Generals team website, www.greensborogenerals.com.
